web design can be an easy do-it-yourself task if you have at least minimal computer knowledge and the patience to learn some basic design software. most web hosting companies provide templates in which you can simply insert content. but if you are already busy trying to start or run your company, this can be a time-consuming and daunting distraction. maybe you are not completely confident in your computer skills or your design skills. this is where we come in. let us do it for you at a low cost so that you can focus on the things that are most important to you.
along the way, we have learned a few things about web design...
1. whenever someone sees their very first website up for the very first time, the very first thing they do is google it and are genuinely surprised to find that it's not the very first hit. not even close. we have learned how to get closer. it's a tricky business. something that will actually require work on your part. click here for more information about how to get a higher ranking in search engines.
2. people who are hiring web designers will often times say, "well, it HAS to have flash to stand out from all the others!" our response is "bull-malarkey!" or something close to that. everyone has flash now. if you want to stand out, you want to be that quiet place in the middle of the cacophony of noise that is the world wide web. and we're not just saying that because we don't know how to do flash (which we don't, but it's on our list of things to learn, right after mandarin).
our simple websites are also very easy to read on mobile browsers, which currently make up a large percentage of browser activity and are rapidly increasing.
